The report pays attention to NCAR's strategic plan, which had recently been implemented, and as a result, guided much of the research and institutional aims of the given year. The report discusses advancements made in hiring, particularly the hiring of early-career scientists, as well as reviews of NCAR's programs, which is completed on a regular basis. The report also overviews developments in the computational abilities of NCAR and HIAPER's ability to improve the quality of atmospheric studies conducted by NCAR.
